RETURNS POLICY

MARKETPLACE RETURNS POLICY

This Returns Policy applies to all purchases made by consumers on the eHusle platform. It is designed to comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa.

As a marketplace, eHustle facilitates the transaction, but the Seller is the ultimate supplier of the goods or services and is primarily responsible for compliance with this policy and the CPA.

1. Returns By Reason

All returns must be logged through the eHustle website/app within the stipulated timeframe.

1.1. Changed Your Mind (30-Day Policy)
We offer a voluntary, goodwill return period of 15 calendar days from the date of delivery for items you simply no longer want. This is more generous than the legal 7-day cooling-off period required by the ECTA for online sales.

3. The Marketplace (Platform) vs. Seller Responsibility

Responsibility
Action/Party Responsible
Policy Compliance
The Seller must comply with this policy and the CPA.
Return Logging & Communication
eHustle facilitates the logging and tracking of the return.
Collection Logistics
The Seller or their designated courier is responsible for the collection (at their expense if defective, or arranged by Buyer if change-of-mind).
Inspection & Approval
The Seller is responsible for inspecting the item upon return to confirm its condition and validity of the claim.
Issuing Refunds
eHustle will process the refund to the Buyer’s payment method after the Seller confirms acceptance of the return.

4. The Refund Process

Once the Seller receives and inspects the returned item and confirms the return request is valid:

1. Notification: The Seller will notify the marketplace of the acceptance.
2. Processing: We will process the refund back to the original payment method (or as store credit, if preferred) within 10 business days of receiving the accepted return from the Seller.
3. Deductions: For “Changed Your Mind” returns, the Seller may charge a reasonable amount for the use, consumption, or depletion of the goods if they are not returned in their original condition and packaging. This is at the Seller’s discretion but must be reasonable.

5. Contact and Disputes

If you experience any issues with a Seller, or if the Seller refuses a legitimate return, please contact the eHustle Customer Support Team immediately.
